Last night my wonderful husband came and picked up the kids for me from the daycare and the babysitter (or so I thought). When I arrived at home, I was greeted by my wonderful husband but no kids. He had dropped them off at my girlfriend's house and decided to take me out to dinner. Well he chose Outback (not bad!). While we were enjoying our Awesome Blossom, he proceeded to tell me how wonderful I was, and how much he loved me. And then he pulled out the box. Now he will be the first to admit that he can not pull off surprises. I pick up on everything. He will also tell you that although he tries, he is not the most romantic guy. Well he said, "Open up the box." I am sitting there in shock and crying at the same time. I open it up to find a beautiful eternity band. I have been wanting one for quite a while. I asked him how much I need to take out of our checking to pay for it, but he assured me that it was paid for. HOW? Well he will receive a bonus on Thursday that we were not planning on getting. He was told by his company that they would not get a bonus. Well the bonus was big enough to pay for this princess' ring and finish paying off Garrett's tuition. Praise the Lord.
Aaron- Thank you for the wonderful surprise. Thank you for 11 wonderful Valentine's Days. I could not have hand picked anyone better to spend the rest of my life. Thank you for 3 wonderful kids. That is so sweet... it's nice to know that other people are still in love after more than a few years! We still get mistaken for newlyweds... and I LOVE it! :-)
